Autumn is our favourite season! It is summer’s last hoorah and nature brings out bursts of colour as if combating the coming of the cold and grey winter. Nothing is a more perfect compliment to the nature’s vibrancy than a beautiful couple in love. Capturing Ethel and Morgan’s love for each other was such a treat, we can’t hardly wait for their upcoming wedding!

Giddy with excitement to share this beautiful beach wedding of Lukas and Whitney. There are many things that we love about this wedding – the bride transported in a camper van, the walk down the hill to the beach venue, large lava formations used for registry signing, sticks and grasses marking the aisles, the personalised parking lot reservation, the newly weds enjoying ice cream at a Dairy after the ceremony, the German tradition of Polterabend, potluck of desserts lovingly prepared by family and friends, and a love letter that is over 11 years old, but what we love the most is their love story and how they are so loved by family and friends. We feel so blessed to have been part of such a special day.
Lukas and Whitney, it is awesome knowing you. We have been inspired by many moments during your wedding day and enjoyed capturing each one of them. We’ll remember you every time we eat ice cream. 🙂 Congratulations and best wishes on your journey as Mr. and Mrs.

We are so excited to share these photos from Todd and Katrina’s wedding. We first met them for their engagement shoot in December 2012. Theirs was our first ever shoot in New Zealand. By trusting us, they have given us the biggest break that allowed us to do what we love and are passionate about – wedding photography. We will be forever grateful for the trust and friendship that they have extended to us.
Todd and Katrina planned their wedding for over a year. Who would have known that cyclone Lusi will pass by Auckland on their wedding day! The beautiful summer sunshine was hidden by dark clouds and gusty winds, the pretty vineyard at Soljans was soaked, the beautiful view gone from inside the venue where the wedding was held. Then, there was a power failure while Todd was saying his vows. Despite of it all, in the middle of the storm, there was love and love was all that mattered. Everyone felt the warmth of Todd and Katrina’s love for each other and for their daughter, Sophia. They in turn basked in the love of family and friends. Despite the raging storm outside, something special and beautiful was unfolding inside. Todd and Katrina, may your journey together be full of sunshine and may you find shelter in each other if a storm comes your way.
